Marketing should be thought of as a campaign!
Posted on June 1st, 2010 1 commentNever think of Marketing online or offline as a vacination or a small reprieve from financial destitution.
Marketing should be a leaving briefing tiger at the for Front of the company it shold be on the look out for opportunities all the time!
There are 3 ways to grow a business!
- new customers
- increased customer frequency
- increased order value
The most costly one is number 1, it is a lot cheaper to keep an exsisting client than getting a new one.
help your customer to buy from you more often by offering other stuff they may need.
Put your prices up or upsell with specials like macdonalds or try to get them on a continuity program that serves a need or frustration they may have.
Thats all Folks
Rich Now reporting!
Ps. To figure out what to spend on marketing divide the number of purchasing customers by your net profit. You should now have a value that is what a customer means in monetry terms. You now know what is the maximum you can spend on getting a new customer…

ello ello, what have we ere then! SEO sir!
Posted on March 1st, 2010 No commentsGetting yourself a site that is SEO efficient is easy!
You have countless providers of SEO on the net from USA to the UK, plenty of providers from India too!
but who will you choose everyone can do On page or website optimisation! The difficulty with optimisation comes from creating orignal bespoke effective useful articles that are worded in a way that attracts hits or traffic to your site!
You need to ask the question, what would people find informative or useful to know about Me or my service or my products..
It may be simplier to ask existing customers, why they use you and or your products. While you’re at that ask them how you should market your business or how you could make your business more attractive.
You may be on your way to creating some raving fans if you do this. then post your findings with testimonials…
one of mine.. almost a case study!
i met Richard whilist repairing his roof, he called me after seeing the number on my van. I was struggling with my business, having only 3 days ahead and no money to pay my mortgage.
I didn’t have any money to pay Richards services, only a promise to settle up if all came good from his advice. bloody hell the amount of advice. ( he said he didn’t take money upfront and charges only for results)
He suggested I carried on with my current marketing which consisted of leafleting. Then came a redesign of my new Yellow page ads and leaflets adding geographical Telephone numbers to track marketing response. He then went to work on showing me how to create key worded Google map entries. and creating SEO websites and submitting.
Conclusion I now have another worker and trainee and 2 months worth of decent work ahead…
This is just one of many testimonial case studies I have to share.
